Upon identifying the goal, your job is to figure out: how does your patient achieves that goal?
If a patient’s goal is to reduce diabetes risk, lose weight and gain mobility — where do they start? How do they “meet you” on their road to health?
The points where you interact along the patient/client journey are often called touchpoints. Common touchpoints for health professionals may include:
Social media groups - like neighborhood blogs or moms+ groups
Paid ads
Provider directories
Insurance listings
Friend referrals
Online search
Showing up along these decision paths is how your patients make the decision to choose your services.
