Chapter 1 - Professional Presence
Your headshot is your professional photo, though it doesn’t necessarily need to be just your face.
Headshots are posed photos in professional dress, typically with the subject looking directly at the camera. Unlike other photos, there is minimal action or other elements and the images are taken by a separate photographer.

High resolution. 72 ppi and 1300 x 700 pixels
Clean, simple background and composition
A well-lit environment
Headshots are standard across industries, but especially important for service providers creating a personal connection with patients.
What headshots are NOT:
A selfie taken with your hand touching any part of your phone
Low-definition images
Happy hour group shots
Seattle lighting (natural lighting is sometimes used, but PNW overcast will typically not work for most professional images)
