A Flash of Experience Everywhere
I've worked in many industries, but have a special passion for eco-living and the natural world where I have helped promote environmentally sustainable habits, upcycling, natural health, and more. I draw my digital inspiration from my diverse job experience, and high-quality education.
I conducted tours at a mystery cabin and once set the wake up call for Carol Burnett. I've merchandised lumber, waited tables, supervised bar staff, and coordinated offices for a military defense contractor. The most viral thing I’ve ever done is dance in a flashmob that got over 1/2 million views on YouTube.

From Masters to Marketing
After realizing my Bachelor’s degree just wasn’t quite the right fit, I went back to school to obtain a Master of Science in Information Management from the University of Washington in 2013 which I used to increase my technical and digital skills. I began agency work in digital content strategy and content management in the Seattle area. My passions lie in food and parenting, and with small business and nonprofit.
When not writing (or reading) I spend my time chasing an active ADHD elementary-schooler and exploring the outdoors with my husband and young pug. I love to cook which is why I also have become a 5k addict so I can eat that same food with joy. I'm an active member of my local community working to support small businesses and community-centered nonprofits with inclusive opportunity for all.
